Groups Overview

Overview

Groups are a core component of the Church Community Builder system. With them you can communicate, share needs, create events, reserve rooms and resources, find and schedule volunteers and more.

Every group starts with one Main Group Leader and also has additional group participants, who can either be Assistant Leaders or just plain Members. In addition, there are people who have been invited to the group or are requesting to be added to the group. All these people have some sort of status in the group, and their association with the group allows you, as a church leader, to interact with them in a few different ways.

Privileges

  • Create Groups - Master admin, Department admin, and Full Group admin
  • Edit Groups - Master admin, Department admin, and Full Group admin. Group Leaders can also edit a group if that privilege is enabled in the group settings by one of the admins
  • Manage Participants - Master admin, Department admin, Full Group admin AND Group Leaders, Assistant leaders, or Directors or Coaches (for Deluxe versions only) for their specific groups if the Group Leader privilege is enabled.
